Don't have a tent? Hate Camping? Don't worry, we have you covered. The wonderful people at Inshriach Estate have some of the most unique Glamping options you could ever want: The loghouse, ex fire truck, secluded Bothy and the Shepherd's hut are as unqiue as they are cosy! Treat yourself to a bit of off-grid comfort to come home to after a gravelly day out...

Log House

Rustic inside, with candles and tea light lanterns for when darkness falls. Plenty of rugs underfoot, a comfy sofa (which can also be a large single bed) and a big wood-burner which belts out the heat on chilly evenings. It's lovely to doze in here with a book and a hot chocolate, or one of Walter’s hand-picked and handmade small batch Speyside gins. Up the wide ladder you'll find your bedroom, with a little window for enjoying your surroundings. When the sun shines you have 200 acres of natural woodland and pasture to explore on a large estate bordered by the river Spey. Sleeps 2 with potential extra single bed (supplement)

£350 for 3 nights.

The Bothy Project

The Bothy Project is itself the product of another project! It was built as part of a plan to establish a series of studios in diverse locations across Scotland, where artists can hide themselves away and get creative. During the summer months, the bothy is available for you to stay in and you can get as creative, or be as lazy, as you like. The Bothy Project invites you to try your hand at some rustic living. You cook on the wood-burner, shower in the fresh air and clamber up to the mezzanine bed for a peaceful night's sleep. Sleeps 2,double

The Shepherds Hut

This hand-built shepherd’s hut is well insulated and toasty all year round, thanks to a little Alles stove on a reclaimed slate hearth, which is incidentally just big enough to fry up an egg or two from the farmyard. As with the other places to stay at Inshriach, nothing is done by halves – there’s a mahogany table for eating or writing your best seller, and a raised oak bed with piles of cushions. There’s also a private compost loo just outside. sleeps 2, double
